Fundraising Progress

$60,000 to purchase the Airplane

In March 2022 we completed our fundraising goal of $60,000 to purchase N133JK, the Cessna 206 airplane you see in the photos. It was damaged in an accident doing missionary work in Haiti. Formerly owned by Missionary Flights International they are happy to see that will remain missionary work.

Completed, Goal Met!

$50,000 for repairs

Goal Exceeded!

We completed this phase of fundraising, in December of 2022. This funding will allow us to repair the airplane and get airworthy for flying once again.

$30,000 for Avionics Upgrades

This fundraising stage is for upgrading the old outdated avionics to new modern solid state avionics. New Avionics will improve the reliability and safety of the airplane.

Rebuild & Upgrade Progress

August, 2023

The first step in the rebuild process is stripping the old paint and primer to expose bare metal. This process allows for a full inspection of the airframe condition for corrosion and cracks. It is a dirty, time-consuming, and tedious job, but it is a necessary step to ensure the best outcome.

October, 2023

Progress on the airframe repairs is well underway. The fuselage has been installed in a jig to ensure proper alignment of the attachment points of the wings and landing gear and to provide a solid, secure platform to do all the needed repairs found in the inspection process. Work has started on all the airframe components, including main wings, horizontal and vertical stabilizers, and control surfaces. It will be some time before it is complete, but it is great to see all the progress made.
